Great Ocean Road, South East Australia

The Great Ocean Road in South-East Australia was simply a breath taking journey. The scenery was really nice and the weather was perfect with cool breeze throughout our journey. We took a drive down from Werribee via Geelong and Torquay to reach there.

We managed to spot a real life Koala in Otway National Park who was sleeping on a tree along the way. We woke it up just to take some pictures (bad of us right? we tried getting it to pose for us but it went straight back to sleep anyways..). Oh, not forgetting, we had to stop for a baby hedgehog (at least I think it was a hedgehog) who was crossing the highway. The highlight of the journey was the 12 Apostles (now maybe just 8 or something) where you're actually standing on the edge of a cliff over looking the ocean. Simply out of this world. Check out more of the spectacular sceneries here then you will know what I mean. You just got to be there to enjoy it.

Disclaimer: If you're wondering why aren't there pictures of people or myself in those pictures? Well, if you must know, I took a few shots of myself with the sceneries naked and I don't want to put it up as it might be too much to handle for some people. You will be deemed a f**king cheap bastard if you copy or take any of these photos to be your desktop wallpaper, screensaver or edit anything without permission and may you shit razor blades for a week!

U2//VERTIGO//2006 Tour - Melbourne

Ok, I know there will be an insane amount of people who will hate me for this...but TOO BAD! I got the bragging rights!

I was in Melbourne last Sunday and was in Docklands doing some sight seeing and noticed that it was considerably packed for a Sunday evening. While not knowing what's going on, my friend then said that U2 is in town having a concert at the Telstra Dome. Of course we all went crazy contemplating whether or not to get the tickets and if there are any left, seeing that this is U2 that we're talking about, it probably might have been sold out ages ago. So we just tried our luck...and guess what??..WE GOT THE TICKETS!! Woohoo! Of course the cheaper ones were snapped up and all thats left were the AUD130 and AUD199 tickets. So we bought the 130 tix, and I must say, I would even pay AUD199 for it, simply because it was that f**king awesome.

Here are some of the pictures at the concert

Our tickets...Woohoo!!

Sold out crowd. 50,000 people at least!

You can also view some concert snippets here:

Watch video 2 - Vertigo

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the opening act was Kanye West and the encore performance lasted about 1 and half hours. To sum it all up, it was the best concert I been to by far (not that I've been to many). Kinda hard to top this one I bet.

I'm Leaving on a Jet Plane

In less than 48 hrs, I will be leaving KL city and will be taking some time off from everything and have a long deserved vacation. Am I excited? Hell yeah! I've been wanting to do this for a very very long time now, and I'm finally doing it...it's going to be loads of fun! Nothing solidly planned...just going with the flow, being spontaneous. For 10 days or more this blog won't have any updates. But don't worry, I will be posting pictures for sure once I return. Which reminds me, I haven't even started to pack!! Until then...

How Much You Love Me?

This is an actual conversation I overheard this morning over breakfast from a couple over the next table.

Girl: Bee...you love me or not?

Guy: Of course lah...then?

Girl: How much you love me?

Guy: Love you lots

Girl: How lots?

Guy: Lots lah..don't know how to tell you...

Girl: Cheh...if you cannot tell me how much you love me then I think you don't love me already lah..

Guy: Where got such thing one? Ok lah ok lah...love you as long as I live. If I die first also I will still love you and be your guardian angel and watch over you for as long as you live....ok?

Girl: *muaks* love you too...

The hair on my arms were standing and my Nasi Lemak and Nescafe Ice nearly came out through my nose.

Artistry

I recently entered this contest on this site called Hennessy Artistry. Basically, what they require you to do is to come up a drink concoction to represent Kuala Lumpur. There is a slogan involve and also, you have to come up with a song to compliment the drink. The winner gets to have a private party with 20 friends. Here is what I came up with:

Urban Desire
1 1/2 oz. of Hennessy V.S.O.P
3 1/2 oz. Ginger Ale
3 Lemon Slices
Mint Leafs
Crushed Ice

Directions:
- Pour Hennessy V.S.O.P into a chilled glass with crushed ice
- Add ginger ale
- Add lemon slices
- Stir and add mint leafs for added 'zing!'

Song to compliment the drink: Burned by Desire by Armin Van Buuren.

Cool eh?

What a Night!

Boy oh boy...what a night me and a bunch of friends had last night. We were celebrating one of my good friend's birthday and as usual, what is a birthday without drinks and getting totally sloshed right? So anyway, there were a lot of us and we had wine and champagne (not a good combination I might add). Yes, I know, we are high class people, we don't drink beer, or other cocktails for that matter, but let me tell you, after 4 bottles of red wine and one champange later, everyone was getting woozy. Well I had to be the responsible one and had to send one of my friend back home. So what happens next?

The person I was going to send home, was in another car as my another friend required an escort back to her place. After following her home, my friend hopped into my car feeling woozy herself too. So as I was driving on the highway..guess what??..she asked me to pull over because she wanted to puke! Damn, I was like in the middle of the highway and I couldn't just pull over! So I panicked...and asked her to hold it in...we stopped by a petrol kiosk later for her to sober up..she then opened the door..and 'all hell broke loose'. She was like a total goner and I had to call for backup, but guess what?? NO BACKUP...because everyone else was wasted as well! The only thing I could think of was to get another friend who joined us to come by to help as she was staying the nearest to where we were.

After nearly 1 and half hours later, we manage to get my friend back to her place safe and sound (but not after she fell into her own puke and also knocked her head several times on the car door and dashboard). It was a funny sight man. It's kinda fun to see others in drunk mode. So many stupid things they do. What isn't fun is if you're the one cleaning up after them. Thank God things like this don't happen on a weekly basis.

By the way, after all that drama, my friend didn't remember a thing the next day...

Here is a list of stupid/embarrasing things that were done (or witness) by me and others after being drunk:

1. Jogging on an airport runway
2. End up on the bed of someone of the opposite sex without knowing how
3. Knocking on a sliding glass door, thinking that you could walk through it
4. Hugging a tyre of a car
5. Sticking your face in a toilet bowl

6. 3 girls + 2 guys + 1 king size bed...go figure
7. Driving on the wrong side of the road
8. Getting 'graffiti' written on your hand without you knowing
9. Puking on a mahjong table
10. Slipping over someone elses' puke (gross!!)
11. Bumping and grinding with some stranger
12. Crying like there is no tomorrow

Gee, How Time Flies...

...when you're blogging. Okay, It's 7:30pm, almost everyone has left the office (because its a Friday night!) and what am I doing?? Sitting here BLOGGING! Gee, I wonder if blogging will ever take a toll on my social life. That's it! This will be my last entry for today. I'm getting my fat ass out of here after this post. PaRtY TiMe! Happy weekend everyone!

Stupidity Case #1

I read this headline on The Star Online today and it read: Man suffers shock while trying to steal electric cables. WTF?? Didn't anyone tell this fella the basics, that metal and electricity is a no-no? How stupid can one be? I bet he wasn't stealing the power line to charge his mobile phone. I guess the cops won't have to worry about catching the theif and sentencing him to death by electrocution.

OMG...NiCk blogs??!!

Well, as the title suggests, this is my first time blogging (Yes I know, damn outdated right?..so sue me!). Well thats because I have always have a thing against blogging (no offense to bloggers out there). I mean, some people write about their life, their feelings and all that crap, and some people use it as a tool to gain popularity. Isn't a blog suppose to be like someone's life journal , a diary, a private thing? (or is it?) And if journals or diaries are meant to be kept private, why the hell publish it to for all?

Another reason I didn't take up blogging is simply because of pure laziness and I simply don't have the time. Yes I admit it, I can be damn lazy at times. So if suddenly you see this blog not updated for a decade or so, then you know that I totally given up on blogging.

So why did I start this blog then? Well, I want to see what the hype is all about. Also, I want to see how long can I sustain this new found 'interest' of mine. Lastly, to simply prove a point that "If you don't try, you won't know".

So what about this blog? Well, for starters, the title says it all... 'Ka Liao Eh Sai' (which translates to: "Anything Goes" in the Hokkien dialect). So you won't find sappy posts here about love and relationships. Instead, you will see my daily takes on life. Pointing out how stupid some people can be. Well, just to keep everyone entertained, maybe I will throw in some photos of my whereabouts and happenings every now and then.

So to sum it all...Look out world NiCk is here! Let the blogging begin!!!
